Yet another thread that's been suggested a bazillion times, but I do see the point. You get titles for finishing missions, why not quests?
The problem is a lot of people don't do the quests unless they're primary, or the master difficulty ones keep some like myself from doing them because they're so irritating.
But then again, if you finish every single quest in the game, that takes probably more time and devotion than all the missions, so why not a title? Or perhaps at least one for all master difficulty missions or something.

right now, nonprimary quests are a waste of time (except those who give pve skills in eotn).
this title would give a reason to do the quests.

Well, I've got three characters and I do all the quests all the time as I go through. Side quests, primary quests, everything. My Mesmer has actually already done all the quests in the game, while my other two aren't far enough because I don't play them near often enough.
I'd love for a title for reading and enjoying some of the nice side plots that Guild Wars has, and really think it'd be a nice way to get people more interested in them so maybe the Developer's hard work on them didn't go to complete waste and a bit more interest can be generated in them.
Why people don't do them already is beyond me, as I don't see the point in passing up free gold and experience for a reward, but whatever. I'm thinking it'd be a neat idea to give a title for it so that more people may do the quests and possibly even enjoy them a bit for the unique situations they face the player with that can't be found in everyday explorable areas and missions.
Definitely signed.

Titles were meant to be something given to those that make things:
I like to explore, I explored, I get the Carthographer.
I like to make all missions, I get the Protector.
I like to kill everything in one area, I get Vanquisher.
I like to get all skills in one character, I get Skill hunter.
So, what about those that like to make all quests? Adventurer!
This title existing or not don't keep me from making all quests, I'll make them all anyways, but there are much senseless things getting titles for being done, like staying in an outposts checking the Drunkard line in the Titles list until the next number comes.
The sooner it's added, the better.

As much as i would like to see the implementation of such a title, it might interfere with the Linsey Murdock's plans to add new stuff to the game on a monthly basis starting next month -> http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/User:...urdock/Journal
I hope for one or two new quests per month.

That would be like with exploration.
When terrain was added(Grent's Footprint) or lost(Prophecies Arenas), you kept the exploration.
So, this would be the same, if new quests are added, they count for the max, but won't remove your max if you already got it.

Although I /signed while this was a new thread. /sign again. This is the only new title that's really needed (maybe along with MithranArkanere's suggestion for reformatting titles on page two).
Adding a poll to this, or the original thread and merging the two, would be good.

I know I already signed this but I do have a question - my fiance brought up a good point. Now while it would be a good idea to add this, how will you know for sure if you've done every single quest in the game? Now I don't mean the ones in your log are cleared out, like what if you missed an NPC that has a quest or something? Hope that makes sense.
Oh, and what about the Margrid/MOW quests? If you go with one of those heroes you don't get the quests for the other. How would that work? Unless the ones at the end of the game would count.

There have been suggestions about this. My personal favorite is to add an option to NPCs, one per campaign, that keeps a log of all the ones you have done. With knowing what you have done, you can then go to wiki and look for the ones you don't have. Basically, wiki is the only known way to get the list of quests you need.

The same issue goes for other mutually exclusive quests, and the quests to people of a certain campaign. The mutually exclusive quests would be a simple answer. Only have one of them count towards the title. Say there are 100 quests in all 4 games that are mutually exclusive to each other, in pairs of two. You only need to do 50 of those quests, as the others cannot be done. For the end-game NF quests to get heroes, those would be mutually exclusive with the quest to get the other hero which you already have (Gain MoW, Gain Margrid would be mutually exclusive).
As for the "Campaign A only characters" quests, basically three different forms of each title track would be needed. Those quest tracks are based off of which campaign your character is from. So Prophecies characters have to do more quests in Prophecies then Factions characters, and so on and so on. Also, Pre-Searing quests, and other limited time quests (Event Quests for instance) would NOT count to the title. Repeating quests only count ONCE.
I hope that helps you out Tender Wolf .

Ah okay, that clears it up better. Thanks!
But yes I wouldn't mind a questing title, but at the same time I can see why ANET wouldn't implement it. So I'm okay either way really.

I made all of them with a character, excluding some Day of Tengu and beta quests.
But all that are available right now, I've made them.
So yes, people do quests.
That deserves a title.

/signed. People nowadays only want to farm DoA or solo uw, scrawl dungeons, etc. Noone takes time to follow the numerous little sidequests that always add some punch to the game.

I've done all of them, except for a few that I've not noticed, killing Mallyx and I still need my UW monument.

I had a habit of clearing quests from my main characters on my 2 accounts... then gave up as too much hassle... I have 27 titles, well on my way to get the 30 I need..... adding this while it might seem like fun will just be a real GRIND if moving along.... and then to see the sheer hell of things... and the number of quests.... eeek.
This article (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10285297) had a speadsheet someone did to collate the quests to check them off... the number of them is staggering....
Just think.... Adventurer Quest Log 234/322234 Complete.... *sigh* (arbitary numbers chosen...)
Think too much to code to recognise the questing, too much in the end when see just where you are... no idea what quests missed or where.... at least get symbols for vanquish and dungeons etc....
Nice idea but too much for GW I think... perhaps something to look at for GW2

great idea and would fit in handsomely with the Vanq./Cart./Skill titles. Games are for playing, titles are for earning. I like this business you speak of.
